Howeve, in a recent interview, Kangana Ranaut has acknowledged that the film has been sold to two major OTT platforms, but at the same time said that a film like Thalaivi just can’t release on digital directly.
“The digital rights have been sold but the film will not directly release on OTT platforms as Thalaivi is being made on a massive scale for theatrical release”, said Kangana Ranaut.
Shealso confirmed that she charged 25 crore rupees for the film as it’s a bilingual, so according to the actress, it’s a two-film deal. Kangana says that she is charging her producer only after evaluating the business prospects of the film and see that no one makes a loss.
