Rajinikanth was admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on October 28. While his team maintained that he got admitted for a routine check-up, sources close to the actor revealed that he complained of uneasiness and chest pain. On October 29, Kauvery Hospital shared a statement about the actor’s health.
Kamal Haasan, who has been best friends with Rajinikanth for decades, took to Twitter to wish him a speedy recovery. His tweet in Tamil is translated as saying, “My dear friend who has been admitted to the hospital @rajinikanth I wish you a speedy recovery and return home in perfect health (sic).”
