Ahead of supreme court verdict in the disproportionate assets case against AIADMK supremo V K Sasikala, Kamal Haasan has tweeted something cryptic.
“Power is of 2 kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Mr.Gandhi (My imitable hero),” he said.
In another tweet, he wrote in Tamil: “நீதியில் நியாயமும் கலந்திருத்தல் வேண்டும்
தீர்ப்பு வேறு தீர்வு வேறு.
நாளை மற்றொரு நாளே.
A few days ago, in an interview, Kamal expressed extreme anger on the rampant corruption in Tamil Nadu politics for the last 60 years and the current uncertainty over leadership between VK Sasikala and O Panneerselvam.
Earlier in a tweet, he said, “We’ve wasted our freedom years gambling our franchise on wrong and corrupt politicians. Let’s stop blaming them. Let’s become incorruptible.”
He said in the interview: “Tamil Nadu has not had the best of service from politicians for more than 60 years now. The first 10 years were glorious, but Congress..Kamraj-ji, Raja-ji.. they all became complacent. Then came the Dravidian parties. Those promises were also not kept. It’s sort of churning into a quagmire now.”
