He posted on Twitter: “Shabash, my friend Rajini. That’s the way. This is a good path. It’s not a path for just one person, but a royal path for an entire community. Welcome, and congratulations.”
Minutes after Rajinikanth said that it was the failure of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in controlling the violence in North-East Delhi, Kamal Haasan said in a tweet: “Excellent Friend Rajinikanth. Come like that. This route is good route and not a separate route. It is King”s Path of one race.”
On Wednesday night, Rajinikanth had said that the violence and the ensuing deaths in Delhi were the failure of the Central government”s intelligence wing, which was nothing but the failure of Home Minister Amit Shah.
It may be recalled that Kamal, who was also critical of the Centre’s handling of the anti-CAA protess, had hinted at aligning with Rajini, who has confirmed his political entry but was yet to form his own party, for the Assembly polls due next year and said it will be decided at the time of elections.
Rajini, while endorsing it said once he floated his own party, he would discuss with his cadres and decide on aligning with the Kamal’s Makkal Needhi Maiam.
