Kamal in Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

Yes, Kamal Haasan is there in Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. But not as actor. Kamal has given the voice-over narration for the Tamil version of the movie, which is hitting the screens later this week.

Arvind Swami has dubbed for Chiru in the Tamil version, it is to be noted. As far as voice-over is concerned, Pawan Kalyan has done the same in Telugu while Mohanlal has done it for the Malayalam.

Directed by Surrender Reddy, the film is based on the life of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who was one of the first Indian warriors to fight against British rule. Nayanthara plays the wife of Chiranjeevi in the film while Amitabh Bachchan will be seen as his mentor.

Chiranjeevi recently advised Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan to stay away from politics.

When he was asked about Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan’s political entry during an interview to Ananda Vikatan, Chiranjeevi gave an interesting answer which could be a reality check for the two stars who are newcomers in politics.

Chiranjeevi advised Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth not to enter politics and said it’s not worth it. He also stressed on the fact that politics is about money. Also, he added that even if the people are genuine and want to accomplish a good deed, they would not be able to.

“I request Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth to stay out of politics. Now money dominates everything in politics. I quit the film industry when I was on top of my game. Though we only enter into politics to do good for the people, the money will defeat us. They defeated me in my own constituency with the money power and the same happened to my brother Pawan Kalyan,” he said.

The Tollywood megastar added: “Politics will not suit sensitive people like me. I hope Kamal and Rajini are not as sensitive as me. They should face a lot of things including insult and betrayal in politics. But my best wishes will always be there for them.”
