Actor Rajinikanth is reportedly in talks for a new collaboration with critically acclaimed director Nag Ashwin.
The news follows the resounding success of Nag Ashwin’s recent blockbuster, Kalki 2898 AD.
Sources close to the matter reveal that the meeting was facilitated by veteran producer Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies.
It is understood that Nag Ashwin, fresh off the success of his sci-fi epic, narrated a story synopsis to Rajinikanth.
The superstar was reportedly impressed with the concept and has asked the director to develop a full screenplay.
This potential project marks a significant turn in the careers of both individuals.
For Nag Ashwin, it would be an opportunity to direct one of India’s most iconic actors after a series of successful and ambitious films like Mahanati and Kalki 2898 AD.
