Kajal Aggarwal takes spiritual route, reads Bhagavad Gita and Bhagavatam

Kajal Aggarwal is doing what she likes the most this lockdown due to Covid-19. She took to social media to write about her tryst with Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam.

“I’ve been listening to the Bhagwad Geeta and Srimad Bhagwatam through this lockdown- these stories have always fascinated me and caught my attention. Finally managed to find the time to actually understand the valuable lessons,” the actress posted.

The Thupakki and Vivegam actress said further: “Understanding and acknowledging our shortcomings, is the first step to purification. Through a beautiful Krishna Leela, let’s learn why envy is unhealthy and how to heal our hearts of envy.”

A couple of weeks ago, she had tweeted, “During this time of uncertainty, follow the link below to get some clarity. I’ve been studying scriptures from our revered Shrimad Bhagwatam and the Bhagwad Geeta and its so wonderful to understand this cherished treasure.”

A couple of days ago, Kajal Aggarwal took to social media to share a message that keeps making rounds on social media, urging those who can afford to do so to help the needy.

“Do you know what is “Suspended Coffee” or “Suspended Meal”? Ok, let me explain…” she said and shared a story in which a woman buys five coffees and asks the person at the café to suspend two coffees.

Another man later walks in ordering ten coffees and suspending five of them. The same orders five meals and suspends two. All the suspended coffees and meals were later served to the needy who walked in asking if anyone had bought them food that day.

“Helping the unknown & poor even without knowing their face, is the kind of humanity which really is the best form of charity. What is remarkable is that, this good act has come to a few countries in Europe and is spreading throughout the world. Hope we too can grow to this level! *Have a healthy day*” she added.
