Kaithi producer’s war of words with Vijay fans

It has been officially confirmed that both Vijay’s Bigil and Karthi’s Kaithi are releasing on October 25. SR Prabhu, the producer of Kaithi, has been giving strong response to Vijay fans who have been trolling him.

A Twitter user asked why Prabhu has been degrading Vijay in all his movies (Aruvi had an one liner trolling the choice of Vijay films), he responded: “That’s a stupidest thought many fans buy it. I can’t explain each one of them! We make films and we stand by it! That’s all.”

Prabhu lost his cool when another fan asked “I very well know you have nothing against Thalapathy Vijay but incorporating such advertising is not healthy brother. Let both the films do well. Promoting your movie by degrading us only spreads negativity bro. Spread positivity. The world needs more of it these days”.

He said, “Fans find their own troll materials to fight! We can’t help. I want all films to do well in the box office. But I don’t give a f*** to the faceless people comes up with their stupid attitude thinking they can make a change with abusive posts!”

When he was asked to maintain decency by a fan who asked him not to use words like ‘F***’, Prabhu replied: “Never knew it was patented to fans alone”.

Recently, announcing the release date of Bigil, producer Archana Kalpathi tweeted: “The day we were all waiting for Our #Thalapathy’s #Bigil will hit screens worldwide on 25th October 2019 #PodraVediya #BigilDiwali @Ags_production @actorvijay @Atlee_dir @arrahman #Nayanthara @Screensceneoffl @SonyMusicSouth.”

Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures tweeted: “The date is locked!
He’s getting released!
Yes…#Kaithi releasing this October 25th. #KaithiReleasing25thOct#KaithiDiwali.”

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram fame, Kaithi has been cleared by the Censor Board with a U/A certificate. Karthi plays an escaped prisoner who is serving a life sentence in jail.

Sam CS has composed the music for the suspense thriller, which marks the second venture of Logesh Kanagaraj. The director will next team up with Vijay for Thalapathy 64.
