Jayam Ravi’s Bogan to be postponed?

Jayam Ravi’s upcoming flick Bogan will not be releasing on December 23 as announced, sources said.

“The demonetization of 500 and 1000 rupees have changed the releases plans of many films and Bogan is not an exception”, say sources.

Recently, a teaser of Bogan was released. The 1.08-minute promo video of Bogan packs enough visuals to capture the interest of the viewers.

The teaser for the major part unfolds to an old Tamil song. Going by the trailer, Bogan seems to pack the right amount of action, comedy and surprise to enthral audience.

Bogan marks the second collaboration of Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swami. The duo last year delivered super hit film Thani Oruvan, which has also inspired the remake in Telugu, starring actor Ram Charan Teja.

Following the commercial success of Romeo Juliet (2015), Lakshman and Jayam Ravi announced that they would collaborate for another venture together. In August 2015, Prabhu Deva announced that his new film studio, Prabhu Deva Studios, will associate with the actor-director pair as the producers of the new film.

Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani, who starred in Romeo Juliet, also joined the team of the film during late 2015
