Even as London doctor Richard John Beale was back at Apollo Hospital in Chennai to monitor the health of chief minister J Jayalalithaa, a steady flow of visitors was there on Monday too.
According to sources, Beale, after checking the parameters of the CM, was happy about the improvement in her health.
Eminent agriculture scientist MS Swaminathan on Monday visited Apollo Hospital and enquired about the health status of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister who is undergoing treatment.
An MSSSRF release said Swaminathan called on Deputy Speaker Lok Sabha M Thambidurai, state Finance Minister O Panneerselvam and Health Minister C Vijayabhaskar during his visit.
Also, Congress party spokesperson Kushboo Sundar, pastors of Church of South India (CSI) and a host of others visited the hospital.
Meanwhile, former CPI State secretary and former MP D. Pandian too visited the hospital and enquired about the AIADMK supremo’s well-being.
“I was told that her face had brightened up a bit. I did not get to meet her, but I was told that she is feeling better. I hope she herself will give the good news of her recovery to the people soon,” he told reporters.
