Jailer 2 trailer drops with Rajinikanth, Mohanlal and Shivarajkumar set for a bigger showdown
The makers of Jailer 2 have unveiled the official trailer, offering a glimpse into Rajinikanth’s return as the formidable Muthuvel Pandian.
Directed by Nelson, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on October 15. The trailer opens with Dileep, played by Suraj Venjaramoodu, trying to track down Muthuvel Pandian, who had taken on an idol-smuggling network in the first Jailer.

The trailer also confirms Mithun Chakraborty’s presence and features the return of Mohanlal and Shivarajkumar, adding to the anticipation surrounding the sequel.
The film also stars Vidya Balan, SJ Suryah, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa Menon, Jatin Sarna, Meghana Raj Sarja and several others.
Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music, while Vijay Kartik Kannan has handled cinematography and R Nirmal is the editor. Kalanithi Maran is producing the film under the Sun Pictures banner.
