Is Mrunal Thakur making her Tamil debut with Silambarasan’s STR48?
One of the much-anticipated projects from the Tamil film industry is STR 48, starring Silambarasan in the lead role.
The makers had recently dropped an exciting update of the film by revealing a poster from the film.
In the latest, reports suggest that the much-happening actor Mrunal Thakur has been roped in to play the female lead.
While an official confirmation on the same has not been made by the makers, if the reports are indeed true, it will be the first time Mrunal will be working with Silambarasan and mark her Tamil debut as well.
STR48 is directed by Desingh Periasamy and backed by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International. Now as per reports, the makers are looking to cast Mrunal Thakur, who has also expressed her interest to get involved in the film.
Speculations were also rife that Keerthy Suresh and Pooja Hegde might also be part of the cast, however it is unclear of Mrunal will join them or have replaced them.
