Top education organisations in Tamil Nadu honoured with Indywood Education Excellence Awards 2020
The prestigious Indywood Education Excellence Awards 2020 concluded successfully at Taj Connemara, Chennai on 14th February 2020. The award was organised to recognize and felicitate top educational organisations for their relentless services and efforts made to transform the education sector of our country.
Indywood Education Excellence Awards was also bestowed upon in two different categories: Schools and Universities. Don Bosco Higher Secondary Matriculation School was bestowed with Excellence in Career Building & Talent Enhancement award; SBOA School and Junior College was awarded with Best Innovative School of the Year award; Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School was presented with Excellence in Promoting Art, Culture & Community Development award; Outstanding Contribution towards Special Needs Education was presented to Srishti Special School; Hope Special school was presented with the Innovation in Special Needs Education award; Nehru Arts and Science College was awarded the Most Promising Arts and Science College of the Year award; Excellence in Entrepreneurship Development ,Innovation & Industrial Research award was bestowed upon St. Joseph’s College; St. Xavier’s College was bestowed with Excellence in Career Development, Infrastructure & Global Exposure; AJK College of Arts & Science was presented with Excellence in Skill Development, Experiential Learning & Talent Enhancement award; VIT University was presented with Outstanding University in Skill Development, Innovation & Placements award; Outstanding University in Global Exposure award was presented to SRM Institute of science and technology; Most Promising Media & Film Institute of The Year award was presented to L V Prasad Film & TV Academy; Best Audio & Sound Engineering Academy award was bestowed upon Soundtech Media; Excellence in Engineering and Technical Education award was bestowed upon Panimalar Group of Institutions; the Most Promising Music School Of The Year award was bestowed upon KM Music Conservatory and Excellence in University Alliances was presented to Danfoss India.
A Panel Discussion on ‘Innovative methods to improve the efficiency and Industrial Applications in Academic sector’ was also conducted during the event. The panel discussed what measures can be taken to improve the quality of education in the country.
