On the side-lines of the event launched at Woodlands service station, Mylapore Chennai and attended by dealers and channel partners through Zoom Live, IOCL ED Retail & State Head (TNSO) Shri P.Jayadevan said that Covid-19 has changed the way we look at life and has forced all of us to look at a new normal. During these times it is important to retain loyal customers and generate goodwill amongst them. Such initiatives of campaigns are a step closer to consumer engagement and soliciting their best suggestions for safety in view of Covid-19 is a way to reward them.
The process of participation for customers is simple and straightforward: Motorists 2/4 wheelers fill in petrol worth INR 200 and 04 Wheelers INR worth 1000 and scan the QR code to participate. The QR code will lead the customers to a URL which they need to fill up and submit and follow simple procedures thereon. Customers will also receive a transaction id and guide them with the further process. For those who are unable to scan the QR code even SMS facility is available. Indian Oil Corporation Limited has launched this scheme across Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichy and Salem and the campaign is on at 1065 petrol bunks in these locations. Best suggestions offered by motorists in view of Covid-19 will be selected by a panel by IOCL.
