‘Indian 3’ Back on track: Kamal Haasan and Shankar to finish without pay

The production of Indian 3 the highly anticipated third installment in the ‘Indian’ franchise, which had reportedly stalled after the mixed reception of Indian 2, is now officially back on track.

This revival comes with a significant development: both Kamal Haasan and director Shankar have reportedly agreed to complete the remaining scenes of the film without taking any further remuneration.

Sources indicate that the lukewarm response to Indian 2, particularly concerning its VFX and screenplay, had created uncertainty around Indian 3′ despite a significant portion of it already being shot.

The production team was reportedly hesitant to continue, especially with the lead actor and director demanding payment for the pending work.

However, it is now widely reported that Rajinikanth played a crucial role in mediating between the parties, bringing them back to the table and encouraging them to complete the project for the benefit of the film and their long-standing collaboration.

This intervention is seen as a gesture aimed at giving Shankar and Kamal Haasan a strong comeback.
