Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today said, “If India is a temple, then Tamilnadu’s akin to the presiding deity.”
Speaking at the Acharya Shree Mahasraman Jain function held in Chennai, he said the State has long been the land of saints.
“Great scholars and saints have worked towards bringing peace in the world. Good will and evading evil are spread through literature,” he said.
Recently, the CM had appealed to the Jain community for industrial investments in the state that offers several advantages.
Speaking at the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) Connect 2018, Palaniswami said the state offers advantages like single window clearance, peaceful law and order situation, uninterrupted power supply and human resource amongst others.
“More number of Jain entrepreneurs should come forward to invest in Tamil Nadu. The state government is ready to provide all help to them,” he said.
In his address, Governor Banwarilal Purohit said entrepreneurs can approach him to start businesses in Tamil Nadu. “I share a good rapport with the chief minister, those who are willing to invest here can contact me,” he said.
