I have stopped drinking: Sona Hayden

Sona Hayden, who was once the hearthrob of fans, suddenly disappeared from films, giving a reason to her well-wishers to worry. As their concerns reached her, she has released a statement sharing her professional and personal details.

Dear friends and fans,
Have been hearing alot of stuff off late….some people wondering where i dissappeared,or why i dont act much, or why i dont dont party at all….well honestly its none of anyones business Still for people who really care:-
1.I havent dissappeared guys still around.

2.I did 4films this year….but rejected 12.

3.Have been choosy thats all…cos i am fed up with the same shit that comes my way.

4. Am still not the same crazy person i first was, what to do have matured.

5. Then i stopped drinking.

6. Most of all i have come to a position where i can sit back wait and afford to  chose my work.i dont have to rush in to everything for the money.

So thanq u for the care and concern and hope 2020 is going to rock with more mature roles.

Sona won Miss Thamizhnad in 2002. She became famous for her best item songs in Kollywood movies. She has appeared in the Tamil film, Kuselan in 2008. She launched a fashion store – Uniq – in Chennai, with Shilpa Shetty gracing the launch.

Sona was born on 1 June 1979 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Her father is of Portuguese and French descent and her mother is a Sri Lankan Tamil. She started her schooling in her home city Chennai at Lusarus Road convent school.

She has completed her graduation in commerce from Annamalai University. Later she had completed her fashion & designing marketing Advanced diploma from Madurai Kamaraj University. She has two siblings and both younger sisters.

She owns a movie production company. She had also opened up a women’s clothing and accessories store by the name UNIQ in 2008, located in Teyanampet in Chennai.
