Hollywood actor wants to act as Rajini’s cousin, Nayanthara’s uncle

Hollywood actor Bill Duke has surprised everyone by saying that he wants to be part of superstar Rajinikanth’s Darbar directed by A R Murugadoss.

He posted on Twitter: “@ARMurugadoss I do not speak #Tamil…but I could be @rajinikanth “long lost American Cousin” or #Nayanthara “Uncle” you know they say I can act!!! @sreekar_prasad & @santoshsivan can edit me in!!! @anirudhofficial can compose a #HitSong with stars from all over, what you think?”

Murugadoss was initially not ready to believe Duke’s post and thought someone was playing a prank in his name. Hence, to clarify, he posted: “Sirrrrrr..? It’s really you.?😬”

Confirming that there was no prank involved, Duke wrote: “Yes Sir…it is my team and I @BigMediaCEO & @BigMediaAgency & @WE2Incubators & @WE2LAIncubator are great admirers of your work…Iam now #76 years young…just filmed #TheMovieMandy with #NicolasCage
Would love to figure a way to work together.”

Nayanthara plays the heroine of Darbar, which is a police story set in the backdrop of Mumbai. Lyca is producing the mega budget film which music by Anirudh Ravidhander. Yogi Babu and Nivetha Thomas will be seen in key roles in this flick.

Ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan, who is wielding the camera for Darbar, was recently all praise for the superstar. “Rajini Sir is awesome – his energy makes him younger… filming him after Thalapathi” posted Santosh Shivan on his microblogging page.

After a break post the first schedule, Rajinikanth resumed the second schedule of Darbar in Mumbai where the film’s director Murugadoss is planning to shoot important scenes.

Rajini plays a police officer in this film which is being touted to be a stylish action thriller, Suniel Shetty and Prateik Babbar are playing the two villains in the film.
