Heavy rains to continue, 5 killed, govt sets up special teams, oppn want more

After a brief break, rains have been lashing Chennai since last night. The weather office said the heavy rain is the result of northeast monsoon that hit the southern coast a few days ago.

The meteorological office has forecast heavy rain in Chennai and very heavy rainfall in coastal Tamil Nadu.
