Today is not just the birthday of Kamal Haasan, but also that of other popular names in the industry- Anushka Shetty, Venkat Prabhu and Bobby Simha.

She made her acting debut through the 2005 Telugu film Super. She achieved success in Tamil cinema with the action films Singam (2010), its sequel Singam II (2013) and Yennai Arindhaal (2015).
All three of them were big commercial successes, while her performances in Vaanam (2011), Deiva Thirumagal (2011) and Inji Iduppazhagi (2015) won her critical praise.
Venkat Prabhu, who is currently expecting the release of Chennai 28 – II, began pursuing an acting career, with his first three ventures, featuring him in a starring role, failing to release, following which he began appearing in character roles.
He entered the spotlight for the first time when he turned director with the summer hit Chennai 600028 (2007). He achieved further commercial successes with his subsequent directorials Saroja (2008), Biriyani (2013) and Mankatha (2011).
Bobby Simha has appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam language films. After making brief appearances in the films Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi and Pizza (2012), he portrayed a kidnapper in Nalan Kumarasamy’s Soodhu Kavvum and a comic villain in Alphonse Putharen’s Neram.
Simha’s subsequent performance as the Madurai gangster Sethu in Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda (2014) won him positive reviews from critics and the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor.
