The students gave enthusiastic reception to this energetic song.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishal said…
“Greetings to Future India (students). The reason why I came to the stage of this event from your midst is because I am one of you. Having been the cultural secretary and organizer of similar events during my college years, I know very well how difficult this task is. Best wishes to all of you.
You are the one who have brought me to this place. Thank you for that. I promise that I will always be one among you.”
Producer Kaarthekeyan Santhanam said…
“I feel like a student when I am among you all. I have entered a college after 18 years. I am very happy to meet you all here.”
Lyricist Viveka said…
“It’s a great pleasure to stand in front of students as a lyricist. ‘Rathnam’ was a great experience. I have been working with director Hari since his first film. All the songs in ‘Rathnam’ have taken shape well.
Devisri Prasad is a pan-India music composer who continues to deliver amazing songs. His popularity has spread not only in India but also in countries like Bangladesh. The song released today will hit the bars everywhere. It’s an inspirational song, I hope everyone likes it.
Vishal is at his peak after ‘Mark Antony’. My sincere thanks to him and the producer of ‘Rathnam’ Kaarthekeyan Santhanam. I assure you that this film and its songs will occupy a prominent place in your hearts.”
Actor Samuthirakani said…
“It is a great pleasure to meet you all. Study well, work hard and progress. Put the ladder on the sky, not on the roof.
My thanks to director Hari. Vishal brother is a hard worker and many more platforms are waiting for him. Kudos to everyone including music composer Devi Sri Prasad, lyricist Viveka, and producer Kaarthekeyan Santhanam. See you in theaters on April 26.”
Director Hari said…
“This is my 17th film, third movie with Vishal and sixth flick with Devi Sri Prasad. He has given excellent songs for ‘Rathnam.’. All six songs have come out really well.
I thought of making a full-length action film with Vishal. Movies like ‘Thaamirabharani’ and ‘Poojai’ too were action-packed, but they also had other things like family sentiment. ‘Rathnam’ will be an out and out action movie like ‘Singam’ and ‘Saami’. Vishal has worked hard for this film. His performance will be talked about. Thanks to everyone.”
Music composer Devi Sri Prasad said…
“It’s great to meet VIT students. The title of the song to be released today is ‘Don’t Worry Don’t Worry da Machi’. We have faced various challenges like Covid-19 in the last three to four years. It is a song that advises us to be positive no matter what.
Because, we will succeed if we face a problem without worrying too much about it. This song conveys it beautifully and you all will love it. Vishal has done some tough dance moves for this song, I am sure you will enjoy watching it, thanks all.”
At the event, educational expenses of two schoolgirls from poor families were sponsored by VIT through Vishal’s Devi Foundation, a charitable organisation, Vishal thanked VIT management and students for this gesture. VIT Vice-President Dr. Sekar Viswanathan appreciated Vishal for his involvement in various social works.
