Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu’s Maareesan to stream on Netflix from 22 August

Maareesan, starring powerhouse performers Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu, is all set to make its digital debut.

The makers have officially announced that the film will be available for streaming on Netflix from August 22.

Directed by Sudheesh Sankar and produced by Super Good Films, Maareesan is a slow-burn thriller that follows an unlikely duo—a cunning thief and an elderly man suffering from Alzheimer’s.

Their road trip, which begins with the thief’s ulterior motive to steal a large sum of money, takes a dramatic turn as hidden truths and unexpected twists are revealed.

The film, which had its theatrical release on July 25, has been praised for its unique storyline and the stellar performances of the lead actors.

Their on-screen chemistry, a reunion after their successful collaboration in the film Maamannan, was a major highlight for both critics and audiences.

The film’s music, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, also garnered positive feedback.

In addition to the original Tamil version, Maareesan will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, allowing a wider audience to experience the film’s compelling narrative.
