The Chennai Photo Biennale Foundation proudly presents Hey!, an extraordinary exhibition showcasing the  creative work of individuals with disabilities and neurodivergence. Hosted at VR Chennai, this inclusive  event celebrates diverse perspectives and unique narratives captured through the photographic medium. Hey! invites visitors to engage with art that highlights the abilities within disability, challenging conventional  perspectives and reinforcing that being different is neither less nor more—just different. The exhibition serves as a creative platform to recognize the heightened sensory perceptions of  neurodivergent individuals, who often perceive details and nuances in ways that many may overlook.

A Celebration of Diverse Artistic Narratives The Hey! Program by CPB Learning Lab was
initiated to make photography accessible and inclusive, empowering everyone to share their
stories visually. The program taught participating artists how to capture self-portraits and
compelling images, encouraging self-expression through photography. Additionally, an open
call invited contributions from disabled and neurodivergent communities across the world,
expanding the exhibition’s scope and inclusivity.

The exhibited works feature contributions from individuals with various abilities and
challenges, including hearing impairment, speech impairment, visual impairment, autism,
and muscular dystrophy, among others. These artworks stand as a testament to the artists’
talent, creativity, and resilience.

Stay Engaged with Upcoming Activities Visitors can look forward to an exciting schedule of
interactive activities designed to foster engagement, understanding, and appreciation of the
artistic talent showcased.
