The first look poster of the film “Colony” directed by Gopi Nayinar and presented by Dr. R. Nagarajan under the direction of Adithi Movies, starring “Kalaiyarasi” Radhika in the lead role, has been released. The first look poster was jointly released by lead director Vetrimaaran and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi.
Director Gopi Nayyar, who garnered attention with the blockbuster hit Aram, has created another compelling socially conscious work with “Colony” after the ready-to-release “Manushi”. Actress Radhika, who received a huge response with the film Thai Kizhav, has once again played a strong central role in the film.
The film is about the emotional journey of a mother who fights for justice for her son’s death. In the first look released, Radhika’s appearance, sitting with fire in her eyes, is strongly impressed. With the police dispersing the public in a riotous atmosphere in the background, expectations have increased that this will be a film that reveals social woes. Like Aram, this poster is designed to show that this will also be a work that will have a serious impact. This poster is receiving a lot of response among the film fans.
The film stars “Kalaiyarasi” Radhika in the lead role and debutant actor Leo plays her son. Along with them, Anjali Nair, M.S. Bhaskar, Chethan, R.K. Vijayamurugan, Vinothsagar, Munnar Ramesh, Ajith Koshy, Ravi Venkatram, J K, A. Venkatesh, Rams, Director Tamil, Senthi, Janaki, Ashwini Thangaraj, Geetha Kailasam, Bose Venkat and many others have played important roles.
After a short break, Thenisai Thentral Deva has composed the music for the film. R. Velraj has handled the cinematography. Antony has handled the editing.
The shooting of the film has been completed in the northern districts of Tamil Nadu, including Tiruvannamalai. The final stages of the film are currently underway. Announcements regarding the teaser, trailer and theatrical release are expected to be made soon.
