Covid-19 has hit another popular film celebrity, with director S S Rajamouli of Baahubali fame declaring that he and his family members have been tested positive for coronavirus.
“My family members and I developed a slight fever few days ago. It subsided by itself but we got tested nevertheless. The result has shown a mild COVID positive today. We have home quarantined as prescribed by the doctors,” the Naan Ee and Magadheera maker said.
“All of us are feeling better with no symptoms but are following all precautions and instructions… Just waiting to develop antibodies so that we can donate our plasma,” added Rajamouli, who is currently directing RRR starring Junior NTR and Ram Charan.
Many celebrities have been wishing speedy recovery to Rajamouli. “Wishing you all a speedy recovery sir Take care 🌸” posted Vedhika. “Get well soon sir @ssrajamouli Wishing u a speedy recovery,” wrote music composer S Thaman.
Recently, Rajamouli decided not to resume the shoot of the movie, after an actor was tested positive for Covid-19 in a TV serial shooting. He had posted a video, in which Baahubali (Prabhas) and Ballala Deva (Rana Daggubati), the lead actors of his ‘Baahubali’ series’, are seen fighting with each other by wearing masks.
Posting the video, he said, “Good job @avitoonindia and @coollazz #Unitedsoft VFX Studio team!
