Dhanush’s D54 officially goes on floors
Director Vignesh Raja made a smashing debut with the 2023 crime thriller film Por Thozhil, featuring Sarathkumar and Ashok Selvan.
Following this, the director’s second outing is going to be massive, given he will be teaming up with actor Dhanush.
The film is tentatively called D54 and the shooting has commenced now which was confirmed with the release of a poster.
The poster shows Dhanush standing alone amid a burning field of cotton.
D54 is backed by Vels Film International and also stars KS Ravikumar, Mamitha Baiju, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, Jayaram, Pritivi Pandiraj, and others.
GV Prakash, a regular collaborator of Dhanush, will be scoring the music, with the release date yet to be set.
The film will be written by Vignesh Raja along with Alfred Prakash. The duo had written Por Thozhil too. Theni Eswar will be cranking the camera with Sreejith Sarang handling the edits.
