National award winning actor Dhanush, who made his directorial debut with Power Paandi last year, is now busy with his second directorial venture, which is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.
The yet untitled movie has Dhanush, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Sarathkumar and Srikanth among others key roles and the project produced by Sri Thenandal Films got a kickstart recently.
And now, Dhanush, who had produced by his father-in-law superstar Rajinikanth’s recent outing Kaala, has expressed interest to direct a film starring the ‘thalaivar’.
In a media interaction, he said that calling action and cut to superstar Rajinikanth is a blessing. When asked whether he would direct his father-in-law in future, Dhanush said: “You are asking as if I’m saying no to the project.”
He added: “Things should fall in place and I always believe that our name is written on the rice we eat so I’m only waiting for the moment. Directing Rajinikanth sir is a blessing… what else I would want in my life”.
Dhanush’s next big release Vada Chennai will be hitting the screens on October 17. The film directed by Vetrimaaran has already kindled enough expectations.
