Yuvan Shankar Raja had recently stated that if his father and maestro Ilaiaraaja’s life journey were to made a film, Dhanush was the best choice to play the legendary composer.
Following this, there is speculation that Yuvan might make his directorial debut with his father’s biopic while the film will be produced under his own production.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film called Pattas. The Dhanush starrer will hit the big screen on January 15.
As per the latest news reports, the film Pattas is the highest pre-booked film for the south actor Dhanush. The pre-bookings for the film opened a few days back, and it is been going strong in every center.
Pattas is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films and is releasing over 1500 screens worldwide. The film is expected to register the biggest opening for Dhanush. Pattas is directed by Durai Senthilkumar of Kodi fame.
Nasser, who has played a key role in the movie, said he will be seen playing the role of Dhanush’s mentor in Pattas. The veteran actor added he did not learn martial arts for Pattas but picked up a few verses, nonetheless. “I play Dhanush’s martial arts guru but don’t have any action scenes,” he said.
The 100th-day celebration of Dhanush-starrer Asuran happened on Monday in Chennai. Apart from the actor, the event also saw the attendance of the film’s cast and crew such as director Vetrimaaran, producer Thanu, music director GV Prakash Kumar, Ken Karunas, Ammu Abirami, Teejay, Balaji Sakthivel, Pawan, Venkatesh, and editor Ramar, among others.
