Dhanush to pair up with Sara Arjun in D56
Actor Dhanush continues to stay busy with several projects across languages.
The actor is now ready with his next Tamil project titled Kara, directed by Vignesh Raja, who previously gained attention for the thriller Por Thozhil.
At the same time, Dhanush is also working on a film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, known for Amaran.
Malayalam actor Mammootty is also part of the film, and he reportedly plays a police officer.
With multiple films in production, Dhanush’s lineup has once again created strong expectations among cinema fans.
Now, the latest buzz in Kollywood is about the female lead in Dhanush’s next film, tentatively called D56.
The movie will be directed by Tamilarasan Pachamuthu, who earlier made the sports drama Lubber Pandhu.
Initially, the makers approached Rukmini Vasanth to play the female lead opposite Dhanush. However, due to scheduling issues and commitments to other projects, she reportedly could not accept the offer.
According to News 18, actress Sara Arjun is now being considered for the role. If confirmed, the film will mark a fresh on-screen pairing between Dhanush and Sara.
The news has already sparked discussions because of the noticeable age gap between the actors.
Dhanush is currently 42 years old, while Sara Arjun is about 20 making a difference of more than two decades.
