Dhanush pens lyrics and sings for Brother’s Day

National Award winning actor Dhanush, who is also known for his ‘poetu’ and ‘singer’ avatars, is at it again. This time, he has written the lyrics for one of the songs from actor Kalabhavan Shajohn’s directorial debut Brother’s Day.

And what more? The Vada Chennai and Mappillai actor has also sung it. This has been confirmed by Jim of the ‘4 Musics’ team which composed the music for the movie.

In an interview, Jim said that they had sent a tune to Dhanush and he liked it. He not just wrote the lyrics but also sung it, added Jim.

Prithviraj plays the hero in Brother’s Day. His look in the film was revealed a couple of months ago which went viral among the netizens.  

In the poster, the star is seen sporting a beard and leaning on a Royal Enfield bike with a happy-go-lucky smile on his face. Reports are that this will be a complete commercial entertainer. Prasanna plays a key role in Brother’s Day.

Prasanna wrote on Twitter: “I cant thank enough @dhanushkraja for being so kind to me n do this for my malayalam debut. U have a big heart bro.♥️♥️”

Incidentally, Prasanna was one of the leads in Dhanush’s directorial debut Pa Paandi, starring Rajkiran and Revathy, among others.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is currently busy with a bunch of movies including Pattas and Asuran, while his long pending venture Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta with director Gautham Vasudev Menon is getting ready for release.
