Dhanush delivers a catchy war song
The first single from Dhanush’s upcoming movie Captain Miller was released on Wednesday, marking the beginning of the promotions in the run-up to its theatrical release.
The song aptly titled Killer Killer introduces us to the hero’s large appetite for blood and war.
Killer Killer is composed by GV Prakash, while Dhanush has sung the lyrics written by songwriter Kaber Vasuki.
The song begins with a declaration: ‘I am the Devil, and you will call me Captain Miller.’ And the song immediately breaks into Ennio Morricone-esque beats, giving us the vibes of a spaghetti Western.
Killer Killer is a song full of warnings to the enemies of Captain Miller. “Captain Miller First single ! Heard you want that fight, well here’s a war. I’ve tasted steel before, i have the scars. You will learn to fear my name, your eyes will never see the same KILLER KILLER CAPTAIN MILLER,” Dhanush sings.
Filmmaker Arun Matheswaran has written and directed Captain Miller.
The film is set against the backdrop of colonized India and it revolves around a notorious dacoit, who goes by the street name Captain Miller.
He seems to be cold-hearted when it comes to raining down firepower on his enemies.
