Sources close to the development confirm that the cameras are expected to roll on this untitled venture shortly after Pongal 2026.
This timing is strategically placed to allow director H. Vinoth to wrap up his current high-profile commitment, Jana Nayagan, starring Vijay, which is slated for a grand Pongal 2026 release.
The journey to this collaboration has been a patient one. Originally, the Dhanush-Vinoth project was eyed to take off even before Jana Nayagan.
However, when the opportunity arose for Vinoth to direct Vijay’s significant final film before his full political plunge, Dhanush, known for his amiable nature and industry relationships, graciously stepped aside, allowing the director to prioritize the monumental Jana Nayagan.
This gesture speaks volumes about the mutual respect and understanding between the two talents.
The film will be bankrolled by Lalit Kumar under the prestigious 7 Screen Studio banner, ensuring a grand scale and high production values.
