Devil movie review

Story:

Devil starts with a road mishap. Poorna, a housewife, accidentally hits Thrigun’s bike with her car. She apologises to him.

Soon, they develop a bond with each other. Poorna finds a friend in Thrigun, but the latter takes it differently.

Meanwhile, Poorna’s husband Vidharth, a lawyer, has an extra-marital relationship with his colleague Subhashree.

At one point, Vidharth realises his mistake and confesses to Poorna. But he behaves like a typical man blinded by his ego. For some reason, Poorna decides to forgive him.

After the interval, the movie changes its momentum as a lot of drama ensues.

What happens next forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Director Aathityaa has made the movie with an interesting plot and has took a lot of cinematic liberty to tell the story.

Poorna shines in her role and is the saving grace of the movie.

She expresses the various emotions of her character in a convincing manner.

Vidharth does justice to his role. Thrigun and Subhashree have done their part well.

Music by Mysskin in good and he elevates the scenes to a certain extent.

The cinematography by Karthik Muthukumar is good. The night shots are captured really well.
