The iconic personality of Tamil Literature, Dindugal I Leoni, producer Dr G Dhananjayan, Actor Babu Antony was the guests of honour for this event. The cast and crew of this movie were present for the occasion as well.

Rev Fr. Abraham, World General, MSFS Congregation said, “It’s an important day for DeSiFMA, as its maiden production ‘Attraithingal Annilavil’ is having its audio and trailer launch today. I thank everyone present for the occasion to wish us. I thank Dindugal I Leoni, producer G Dhananjayan, actor Babu Antony, MSFS Rev. Fr. Xavier, Naveen, William, DeSiFMA staffs and team. DeSiFMA was started a couple of years ago, during the same period, where Corona crisis occurred. Eventually, this hampered the development process of DeSiFMA. At the same time, the same corona imparted a valuable lesson that an individual has to fight all the odds, and should never compromise during the process of achieving their vision. Eventually, we have created a good movie now. I thank the entire team cast and crew of this film for their great support and cooperation. We will continue to produce more good movies based on the result of this movie. I request all the friends from press and media to support us and the movie.”

Director Jayakumar said, “I thank God Almighty for making this event happen. I thank my mentor-teacher Dindugal I Leoni sir for being a part of this occasion. I thank MSFS World General Head Rev. Fr. Abraham for directly flying from Rome for this event. I thank actor Babu Antony, the teacher of Fr. Abraham for being here as chief guest for this movie. I thank producer Dr. G Dhananjayan for gracing this occasion. I thank everyone from MSFS Congregation and DeSiFMA for making this project happen. Usually, a Film Institution course winds up with students making a short film, and getting a degree. After moving out, they struggle for months and years to get proper guidance in the practical domain to make a movie. So while working in Loyola College, I ideated the concept of why not the college institution itself produce movies, which is more possible by a reputed institution like Loyola College.  However, since it comes under the University, it is not supposed to produce movies. During that time, Fr. Stephen was the Indian Head of MSFS. When I approached him with this idea, he instantly decided to go with it, and today, we have completed our maiden project ‘Attraithingal Annilavil’. We have completed shooting the entire film in just 18 days in Bangalore, since corona lockdown had heavy impact in Chennai during that time. I thank my entire team of actors, technicians and my assistants for being so supportive in letting this happen. We have made ‘Attraithingal Annilavil’ with the attempt of delivering good content-driven movie for family audiences. This will be a movie that will be liked by all. I request press and media to support this movie, so that MSFS will continue to produce and create more movies based on good contents.”

Actor Babu Antony said, “My first movie in Tamil was Poovizhi Vaasalile that was released 35 years ago, and my recent movie is Ponniyin Selvan. My journey with Tamil cinema has been great. I thank everyone for inviting me here for this occasion. I have a great bonding and connection with MSFS congregation. The General Head – Fr. Abraham was once my student in Pune. I wish all the best and great success of the entire team of actors and technicians for Attraithingal Annilavil. I wish director Jayakumar for a successful directorial venture with this movie.”

Producer Dr. G. Dhananjayan said, “Director Jayakumar Lauren deserves special appreciations for choosing a good script like Attraithingal Annilavil. It’s a beautiful and poetic Tamil title. It’s great to see that the entire shooting of this movie has been completed in a very short span of time. It’s true that a good script selection, proper casting, proper planning and execution will result in the completion of projects on time. It has been exactly proved by Jayakumar Lauren. It’s great to see DeSiFMA producing a movie, thereby setting a new trend by offering opportunity to the students, who have pursued education there in the media institution of theirs. I am sure, this movie will be of a good quality, and I wish the entire team for the great success of this movie.”

Dindugal I Leoni said, “I thank the entire team of Attraithingal Annilavil for inviting me for the audio launch of a beautiful movie. The film’s director Jayakumar Lauren is my student. I have good experiences with my students, who sometimes look elder than in me in appearance (Jokingly quoted), but their achievements have made me prouder. It’s always a pleasure and immense happiness for teachers to see their students excel, and Jayakumar has been yet another delight for me. This movie is produced by a congregation of priests, and just imagines the situation of Jayakumar, as he would have come across many restrictions. It more like a person planning to kick-start a chicken Biriyani eatery with the advice of 5 Brahmins… It’s great to see this movie has no single smoking, drinking or any obscenity. The producers being church priests have been very conscious about it. These days, bloodshed and gory violence have become a mandatory element in all the movies.  They have handled this movie with utmost care and dedication that it savours the tastes of audiences from all age groups. This movie will not just be a unique and different experience for the audiences, but a wholesome treat as well.

Press and Media have been the responsibility of getting a best reach for a good movie towards the public. These days, it has become an odd situation, where a healthy nutritious food like vegetables and fruits are sold by people, who have to shout out from their ribs to draw your attention. In contrast, everyone will rush to the wine shops by the time it closes. So, good things and products need to be promoted very well, and I am sure media will definitely do the same for this movie.

The movies owning the titles of starting lines of famous song have witnessed success and Attraithingal Annilavil is going to be the latest inclusion to this league. Acting isn’t an easy job, for I experienced so much of challenges while acting as father of Arun Vijay and Vadivelu in a movie titled ‘Ganga Gowri’. For a single emotion, it took nearly 3-5 hours for me to deliver it. I am so glad to see that the actors in this movie have delivered neat performances, and the director has extracted best out of them.”

I wish DeSiFMA Institute of Education’s attempt of this new venture becomes a great success. An educational institution making a movie isn’t an easy thing, and they have done a remarkable job with the team work of students. I wish them great success.”

Furthermore, the priests from MSFS Congregation, who took part in the event appreciated the entire team for a wonderful project, and wished them great success of this movie.  They also thanked the special invitees and the media-press fraternity for making this occasion successful.
