“Curtain Rises on ‘Footage’: Manju Warrier & Saiju Sreedharan Set Foot in Thrissur for Their New Movie Adventure”

In the heart of Thrissur near Chimney Dam, the acclaimed actress Manju Warrier has hit the ‘switch-on’ button for “Footage”, an intriguing new film that marks the directorial debut of celebrated editor Saiju Sreedharan. The maiden shot, marking the commencement of the movie’s production, has set the ball rolling for an exciting cinematic journey.

Saiju Sreedharan, the mastermind behind the editing of blockbuster hits like “Anchaam Pathira,” “Kumbalangi Nights,” and “Maheshinte Pratikaram,” has traded his editor’s chair for the director’s megaphone, adding a new facet to his already illustrious career in the film industry.

Warrier, the powerhouse of talent, will be leading the cast, joined by Visakh Nair and Gayathri Ashok amongst others. The movie is being produced by Bineesh Chandran and Saiju Sreedharan themselves under the joint banners of Movie Bucket, Cast & Co, and Pale Blue Dot Pictures. Rahul Rajeev and Suraj Menon are onboard as co-producers, with Aneesh C Salim holding the position of Line producer.

The screenplay and dialogues for “Footage” are a collaborative effort of Shabna Muhammad and Saiju Sreedharan. The film’s creative team boasts notable names including cinematographer Shinoz and art director Appunni Sajan. The sound design is helmed by Nixon George, with VFX provided by Mindstin Studios, and costumes designed by Sameera Saneesh.

This cinematic endeavor also involves using found footage, marking a unique direction for the film. The project is designed by Sandeep Narayan, with Aswekeepsearching providing the songs and Sushin Shyam crafting the background score.
