Police department has reportedly denied permission to the team of Vishal’s Ayogya to soot at a particular place in Villupuram.
According to reports, the team Ayogya was supposed to shoot in a house near Villupuram and they already got permission from the local police.
Just when the shoot was about to commence, police officers told the unit that there is a mosque nearby so they can’t give permission for the shoot. Due to this, it is learnt, the Ayogya production house faced Rs 12 lakh loss.
It may be recalled that Ayogya’s first look poster courted controversy recently after it had Vishal, a police officer, holding a beer bottle by sitting on a police vehicle.
PMK founder leader S Ramadoss had expressed objection to Vishal holding a beer bottle in the first look poster of the actor’s upcoming flick Ayogya.
In a series of tweets, Ramadoss, an advocate against smoking and consumption of liquor, said he did not expect this kind of pose from the general secretary of the Nadigar Sangam.
Urging to withdraw the first look poster with immediate effect, Ramadoss said this would send a wrong message to youngsters.
A remake of Telugu super hit Temper, Ayogya is directed by Venkat Mohan, a former associate of A R Murugadoss. Raashi Khanna is the leading lady.
The movie also has Pooja Devariya, KS Ravikumar, and Parthiepan in pivotal characters. Sam CS is composing the music for Ayogya which is being bankrolled by popular Telugu producer Tagore Madhu.
