Convocation Ceremony at SRM !!
SRMIST Hosts 20th (Special) Convocation at Kattankulathur:
The 20th (special) Convocation of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) was held on 15 November 2024 at Kattankulathur. A total of 10,848 students of UG, PG, and PhD programs in Science and Humanities, Medicine and Health Sciences, Management, Law, and Agricultural Sciences were awarded their degrees.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Prof. Mahesh Chandra Misra, Former Director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. In his address to a full auditorium, Prof. Misra encouraged the graduates to be willing to learn, unlearn, and relearn and to be up to date in all aspects for a fulfilled life. Further, he advised them to lead healthy and positive lives.
The Founder Chancellor of SRMIST, Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar, presided over the ceremony along with SRMIST’s Pro Chancellor (Academics) Dr. P. Sathyanarayanan. The Annual Report was presented by the Vice Chancellor of SRMIST, Prof. C. Muthamizhchelvan
