Analysis:

The storyline of the movie is very simple, however the way in which Ashwin Saravanan has executed it should be lauded.

The director has used the technologies at his disposal in an effective manner.

There are enough horror elements to keep the audience on the edge of their seat and the minimum runtime also makes Connect a gripping watch. Nayanthara is very effective as the affectionate and caring mother.

She manages to convey every emotion that her character goes through in close up shots which have worked out well.

Hania Nafeesa has delivered an excellent performance in her first flick. She has created the much needed impact for her role.

Sathyaraj has done his part well and Anupam Kher though appears for a small portion creates the much needed impact.

Vinay has very limited screenspace but is impressive. Prithvi Chandrasekhar has created the much needed impact for a horror movie.

Manikantan Ramachary’s camerawork gets the audience more close to the actors and into the thick of action.

Rating: 3.7/5
