Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke alleges assault during Jaipur protest
Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), alleged that he was assaulted while attending a protest gathering in Jaipur. According to Dipke, the incident occurred as supporters were carrying him through the crowd at the protest venue.
Speaking after the incident, Dipke claimed he had been attacked but urged his supporters to remain peaceful. He said that violence should not be met with violence and asserted that attempts to intimidate or silence the movement would not succeed.
The protest was held at Shaheed Smarak and drew a large number of young participants who gathered to raise concerns over issues including unemployment and the alleged leak of the NEET examination paper.
During his address, Dipke criticised the handling of the alleged examination leak and questioned government priorities. He also referred to past incidents involving student safety and expressed dissatisfaction with the authorities’ response to educational and employment-related concerns. Additionally, he criticised those who label critics and questioning voices as anti-national.
Another participant in the protest, Bewesh Adhikari from Sikkim, also alleged that he was attacked during the gathering and claimed that his mobile phone went missing in the incident. Later, while addressing the crowd, Adhikari thanked the police for intervening and ensuring his safety.
