Singer-dubbing artiste Chinmayi Sripadha has requested those spreading rumours about SPB’s health to stop doing it. Also, she has urged the government to postpone NEET and other exams.
“It is really sad that SPB sir’s family needs to counter rumours at this time. Can everyone just give them space? Keep SPB sir in your prayers; we all love him. But keep the rumours to yourself. Please dont give the family clarification tasks. Thanks,” she said.
On exams, she posted, “A pandemic we’re battling; floods. Mental heath overall has been tough for everyone. Financial distress. And demand to sit for exams. I mean… #PostponeJEE_NEETinCOVID.”
S P Charan, son of SPB, has said in a video statement, “I had a conversation with the doctors today and everything seems normal. Dad is, as I said yesterday is responding well and is 90 percent out of sedation. He is doing well and is responding to the doctors and the treatment.
I can’t say enough that we as a family are very grateful for all the love, affection and prayers that have come my father’s way. I am also grateful to the doctors who have been diligently working on my father’s treatment to make sure he is going to recover from this illness.
Thank you all again. Let’s keep praying. Hopefully we will see my father as early as possible. It is a good day for everybody who are following my updates expecting my father’s speedy recovery.”
Though there is a slight improvement in the health condition of veteran singer S P Balasubrahmanyam, he is still on ventilator support, sources said. ‘The treatment is showing results and he is responding slightly to medicinenes. If the improvement continues, then a decision will be taken on removing ventilator and ECMO,’ sources said.
