Both Petta, Viswasam to hit screens Jan 10? It seems superstar Rajinikanth’s Petta and Ajith’s Viswasam, both biggies which are slated for Pongal release, will hit the screens on January 10.
In the official website of Central Board of Film Certification, the run time and dialogues which are muted in Petta have been revealed.
The film directed by Karthik Subbaraj will run for 2 hours and 51 minutes. Going through the list of cuts suggested by CBFC, there are many cuss words used in the film like Vada Chennai.
Meanwhile, Ajith’s upcoming commercial action potboiler Viswasam has been censored with ‘U’ certificate. The makers of the film have also confirmed that they are all set for Pongal theatrical release.
Directed by Siva who made Veeram, Vedalam, and Vivegam with Ajith, Nayanthara plays the romantic interest of the actor in the film.
Recently, Petta makers released the video song of Aaha Kalyanam and also HD posters of Rajinikanth and Trisha from the movie. The stills immediately became a rage on social media.
For their part, Viswasam team released a new song, a village one. The song composed by D Imman is titled Thalley Thillaley and is sung by Anthony Daasan. The song is energetic and is filled with nativity folk style lyrics.
In a perfect birthday gift to Rajinikanth fans, team of the superstar’s upcoming film Petta released a teaser, which has been overloaded with mass elements.
The teaser shows Rajini in a youthful urban and rural looks, dancing with students and walking in his magestic way. And what more? It has the popular Deva BGM of Annamalai with Anirudh’s Petta touch adding more energy to it.
