BJP state president Tamilisai Soundararajan has said her party would win many constituencies in the next Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
She announced that her party would stage agitations in all districts in the state condemning the increase in bus fares and demanding the immediate roll back.
Speaking to the media, she said the party is growing in the state in a rapid manner and people are impressed with the many schemes being implemented by the central government led by PM Narendra Modi.
She said that the BJP is emerging as a strong force in TN and that the party would prove its strength in the upcoming local bodies elections.
“We are getting geared up to show our strength….We are not prepared to talk about alliance at this juncture but would say the BJP will make a huge impact in the next Parliament elections too,” Tamilisai added.
Tamilisai came down heavily on the bus fare hike implemented by the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam government and said that the hike in the bus fare would add to the burden of the general public.
