Bigg Boss 3 starts, Kamal’s words to contestants

As Kamal Hassan entered the stage at the Bigg Boss set on Sunday, the internet was awash in rumours as to who the 16 contestants will be who will occupy the house at Chennai’s EVP film city.

This season’s contestants have more familiar faces than the previous season. With rising viewership over season one and two, Bigg Boss Tamil season 3 is expected to grow bigger.

Jangiri Madhumitha, actor-musician Mohan Vaidya, actor Fathima Babu, Nerkonda Paarvai fame Abhirami Venkatachalam, Alya Manasa, Malaysian actor and musician Mugen Rao, Saravanan Meenakshi fame Kavin, Srilanka model Losilya, actor Sarvanan, dance master Sandy, Reshma Pasupuleti, and actress Sherin have entered the show.

Cheran, who writes, directs and acts in his own films, is by far the biggest star contestant this season. A national award winning director, Cheran shot to instant fame with his Autograph (2014), a movie about memories, past loves and losses that spawned a genre in Tamil cinema.

Sakshi Agarwal is an actress with multiple advertisements and movies to her credit. She is also an Instagram star with over 1.6 lakh followers. She will be one to look out for in the viewer polls for Big Boss Season 3.

From the stunning interior designs with the Chettinadu architecture to the jail where the contestants will be punished during the tasks, the Bigg Boss house is exquisite and well equipped.

Kamal Haasan welcomed all the contestants, reminded them about nominations and announced that there is no eviction in the first week.
