Banaras movie review

Story:

Zaid Khan is from a rich family who enjoys his life by partying and travelling to different places.

Zaid makes a bet with his friends that he will make Sonal Monteiro falls in love with him.

He weaves a story about being a time traveller which Sonal believes as well.

However, things take an unexpected turn when a picture of Zaid with Sonal goes viral on social media.

Hurt by this Sonal leaves for Banaras. Feeling guilty of his act, Zaid goes in search of Sonal.

What happens next forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Director Jayatheertha has made a love story with twists and turns based on a time travel concept.

The director has delivered an entertaining film which also delivers a message. Zaid Khan does a commendable job for a debutant. He is quite natural in the emotional scenes.

Sonal Monteiro delivers a decent performance. She lives upto the expectations as an innocent girl.

Sujay Shastri, Achyut Kumar, Devraj and rest of the cast have deliverd what was expected from them.

Music composer Ajaneesh Loknath’s music is soulful. Advait Gurumurthy’s camerawork is impressive and colourful.
