Ayothi movie review

Story:

A North Indian family travels to Rameswaram during Deepavali. The father is a very adamant person who thinks that everything should happen according to his wish.

On their way from Madurai in Car, he gets into an argument with the driver as a result of which the car meets with an accident. Sasikumar comes there to help the family.

However, the father is adamant that the post mortem should not be done as per their traditions.

This creates fresh problems. What happens next? Who is Sasikumar, was the post mortem performed or not forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:

Directed by R Manthira Moorthy, the cast of the movie is its biggest positive. The characters have delivered an realistic performance in their respective roles.

The director has took a simple script and has tried to deliver it in an engaging manner. He has also touched up on contemporary political issues.

Sasikumar has once delivers as a good samaritan. He has very minimal work and has done his character effortlessly.

Rest of the cast including Yashpal Sharma, Preethi Asrani, and Bose Venkat have all doen their part well.

Music by NR Raghunandhan is impressive and gels well with theme of the movie. Cinematography by Madhesh Manickam has captured the proceedings in an effective manner.
