Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala has completed all the censor formalities and received a U/A certificate. According to the sources, the film has been censored with 14 cuts.
Anjali Patil who plays a Tamil speaking Marathi girl in Kaala revealed that the film will have a strong political message.
She also said she plays a strong character who takes the story forward. According to Anjali, Huma Qureshi plays Rajinikanth’s romantic interest.
Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film was slated to hit the screens on April 27, but it looks like the film’s release might get postponed because of the ongoing strike by Tamil film producers.
Recently, Lyca Productions, who have bagged the distribution rights for the film, has extended its support to the Tamil Film Producers’ Council.
“We are in sync with the Producers Council and in complete support of the demands. We will comply with the same till the system is rectified. #TFPC,” Lyca Productions recently tweeted.
