Ashok Gajapathi Raju appointed as TTD Chairman
Ashok Gajapathi Raju, the former Union Minister of Vizianagaram has been appointed as the Chairman of the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam.
He recently secured victory of the party in the district without contesting elections.
The new administration, focusing on the affairs of TTD, aims to gain favor among devotees by entrusting responsibilities to experienced figures like Ashok Gajapati Raju.
Despite his extensive political career in Andhra Pradesh and as Union Minister, Ashok Gajapati Raju is inclined towards spiritual pursuits, which aligns with the state government’s readiness to assign him these responsibilities.
Earlier, the YCP government appointed Bhumana Karunakar Reddy who had a tainted image in the public as the TTD chairman.
This time, Chief Minister Chandrababu has given the post to Ashok Gajapathi Raju who has a clean and green image.
