Kangana Ranaut’s production office was demolished by the BMC after a stop-work notice to her 14 violations. The civic body carried out the demolition process while the owner was still on her flight from Himachal Pradesh to Mumbai on Wednesday.
This happened following the entire Shiv Sena vs Kangana row that emerged when the actor compared Mumbai to PoK, and the Centre granted Y+ security to her on her way back to the city.
The Bombay High Court on Wednesday stayed the demolition process initiated by the BMC for illegal construction at actor Kangana Ranaut’s bungalow here and sought to know why did the city civic body enter the property when the owner was not present.
After the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished “illegal” portions of Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai office, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has said that he never threatened the actress. He said that he only expressed anger at Mumbai being linked to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
He also said that Kangana is welcome to live in Mumbai and the matter is over for him. Sanjay Raut said, “I have never threatened #KanganaRanaut. I only expressed my anger at #Mumbai being likened to POK. I am not responsible for what action #BMC takes. Matter is over for me, Kangana is welcome to live in Mumbai: #Sanjay Raut”.
She claimed a notice against another property owned by her “was not just to me but to entire building… this is not my flat issue but a building issue which builder needs to deal with… this building belongs to Sharad Pawar we bought the flat from his partner so he is answerable for this not me…”
She took to Twitter to share a copy of the said document and accused the Maharashtra government of “spreading fake” information.
“Paid sources of Maha government are spreading fake info, BMC never sent any notice to me until yesterday,” she tweeted.
“In fact I got all the documents cleared myself from BMC for renovations. [?]@mybmc [?] at least have the courage to stand by your audacity. why lie now?,” she added. She also vowed to expose Maharashtra Chief Minister.
