Arunraja Kamaraj says he is going to direct Vijay

Arunraja Kamaraj has expressed hope that he would soon direct a film starring Vijay. Arunraja revealed that he had pitched his idea to the actor, fondly called as Thalapathy by fans.

However, the film got delayed due to the COVID-19 situation in the country. The filmmaker also assured his fans that his film with Vijay will definitely start rolling soon. Arunraja Kamaraj feels happy that he got an opportunity to narrate his story to Vijay.

“The right time will come. But it is an experience because there are many who don’t even get the opportunity to narrate a story to him,” the multifaceted personality said.

Headded: “I want to make sure that the next time I meet him, I will make him throw his arm around my shoulder and say, ‘Enna nanba eppo shooting porom?’ (friend, when do we start filming?),” he adds.

Arunraja Kamaraj’s latest project is the independent single ‘Kannakuzhi Azhage’ which he has written lyrics for and produced under his banner ARK Productions. Its theme is about a writer suffering from writers block and gets out of it after the arrival of the girl of his dreams.

Arunraja Kamaraj is a singer, lyricist, actor, director. He is known for his works as lyricist in films such as Theri, Pencil, Kabali and Jigarthanda. He also debuted as an actor in Raja Rani and appeared as Neruppu Kumar in the film Maan Karate.

He has written and sung the song “Ding Dong” for the movie Jigarthanda, which was critically acclaimed. He has also written and sung the song “Neruppu Da” in superstar Rajinikanth’s film Kabali. His other notable works includes movies such as Demonte Colony and Trisha Illana Nayanthara.
