Arun Vijay’s Retta Thala gets a release date
Arun Vijay’s highly anticipated dual-role thriller, Retta Thala, have officially announced the film’s arrival in cinemas worldwide on December 18, 2025.
Directed by Kris Thirukumaran, who previously helmed Maan Karate and Gethu, this action spectacle is set to see Arun Vijay reprise the challenging feat of playing two roles, much like he did in the successful thriller Thadam.
The film will feature him as two distinct characters, Malpe Upendra and Kali.
The narrative is positioned as a gripping action thriller where the “shades of grey in all individuals start to show simultaneously.”
The strong technical crew behind this production includes music by Sam C. S. (with a special track featuring Dhanush), cinematography by Tijo Tomy, and editing by Anthony, all working under the BTG Universal banner to craft what is hoped to be a career-defining mass-action entertainer for the lead star.
